Double Head CNC Stone Engraving Machine is a computer‐controlled stone processing machine equipped with two independent cutting/spindle heads that can work simultaneously (or independently) to engrave, cut, carve, and shape natural and engineered stones such as marble, granite, sandstone, slate, terrazzo and artificial stone. These machines are widely used in stone fabrication, monument/tombstone work, architectural decoration, and customized stone art production.
🛠️ How It Works
The machine is driven by a CNC controller that reads G-code instructions generated from CAD/CAM software to move the dual heads across X, Y, and Z axes.
Each head typically has a high-speed, water-cooled spindle that spins cutting or engraving tools (e.g., diamond bits) to remove material from the stone surface.
The dual-head configuration allows two separate operations at once (e.g., engraving two slabs simultaneously or performing multiple toolpaths on one piece), effectively doubling throughput compared with a single head machine.
